Inspirational Tree at All Saints Camp, Bahamas

Thank you to everyone from our church family for supporting our mission trip! We wanted to check in to let you all know that our first two days at the All Saints Camp in the Bahamas have been a blessed and work-filled experience.

In addition to interacting with the residents of the camp community, we are working on fencing, builing railings to increase accessibility, and doing latice work. Our internet capabilities are limited, but we'll try to post updates and photos when we can!

MISSION TRIP DAY 3!

MISSION TRIP DAY 3!

We had a great Wednesday on our mission site! In addition to continuing our carpentry and fencing projects, we also continue to make connections with the inspiring residents at All Saints Camp.   We are getting much better at Dominos (it was a slow start!) and we have shared in times of singing, story-telling and laughter.  Thank you all for the continued prayers and love!

Mission Trip: Thursday     Today was our last full day of work at All Saints Camp. One group completed building the deck they have been working on. Another finished transferring their giant mound of landscaping dirt and sand. A third finished the wood frame for their concrete project and a fourth completed another 30 feet or so of accessibility railing. And our fencing crew was as productive as ever in fencing around the buildings.  All of the groups helped to lead BINGO for the camp residents, who absolutely loved it.

Heading Back Home!   We had the most amazing week in the Bahamas. We can't wait to share our experiences with everyone at our church service on Sunday. Thank you for your prayers all week, and for a safe trip home today!
